Symphonic (Sym): How has being a woman empowered you to achieve the level of success you have?
Jenn Morel (JM): Being a woman in this email marketing oman industry that is so dominated by men, it empowers me a lot. Because I know that Queen did it first, and now it's our turn to break through.
Sym: What is your relationship with the Dominican Republic as a Dominican who grew up in the diaspora?
JM: Even though I was born in the Dominican Republic and raised in New York, my relationship with the Dominican Republic is a little different. Obviously, I'm not that up to date with what's going on in the country, although I do have family who keep me informed. But it's for the best, because every time I go to the country, I find everything new, everything is cool . It's really cool!
Sym: What is the most exciting part of the music creation process?
JM: The most emotional process for me as an artist is hearing the beat for the first time. The ideas that come from …. , and what closes everything is the stage.
Sym: What's next for Jenn in 2023?
JM: For 2023 I have new music, new collaborations, new sounds and new territory for you.
