On November 22, 2019, the 19 students of the MBA2 Logistics & Supply Chain had the great honor of being welcomed by Mr. Hervé ALLIE, President of DHL AVIATION France and Director of the DHL Express Roissy CDG hub. Organized by Nicolas Rogier, Director of the Logistics & Supply Chain Management program, the students of ESLSCA Business School Paris had the exceptional opportunity to discover the main HUB in France through an exclusive visit to the heart of the activity.



a company with 300 employees, is the investor database world leader in logistics services on behalf of various customers. Present in France for 50 years, they stand out from their competitors thanks to their specialty: Delivering parcels and documents internationally, express (between 1 and 4 days), door-to-door, while ensuring customs and administrative operations.



With logistics being heavily impacted by the rise of e-commerce, companies must demonstrate constant agility, particularly during peaks in activity (such as sales, holidays, celebrations) and various events (IT service interruption, bad weather, etc.). DHL's 2020 strategy can be summed up in a triptych: Focus, Grow, Connect; 3 words that are both simple and allow for personalized understanding for each player in the group.



In 2021, the new 20,000m2 HUB with a 12,000m2 mezzanine is planned. DHL Express is therefore preparing to move its site, still in Tremblay-sur-Seine, a few meters from the current location. The aim of this project is to increase activity and, above all, to further develop the group's CSR policy, in particular with the "Go Green" program, the objective of which is Zero Emissions before 2050, with the deployment of green courier vehicles. Other commitments include "Go Help" and "Go Teach", the respective objectives of which are participation in charitable works and the upskilling of staff via a solid internal program.
