You must have heard about the unit of digital photography . That’s right, pixels are the unit used for digital photography and every digital image is made up of pixels. The same idea goes for frequency. Images also contain many frequencies like pixels. Understand it by dividing the frequency into two parts which are higher and lower frequency. These frequencies are effectively used to get flawless results in retouching.

The first step directs you to open Portrait Photography in Photoshop, which is the target editing software for this task. You need to create two duplicate layers of the image using CTRL+J twice. Naming layers

This effect is applied to the bottom layer using the filter and then you need to select the effect which is Gaussian blur after clicking on the blur. The next task is to drag the slider. Move the slider to the right to get a blurred effect and this will hide the wrinkles and pimples from the face. After doing this, you need to select the top layer by first bringing it back.

Now you need to apply the image by selecting the high frequency means the top layer. Click apply when the dialog box appears. Now select the lower frequency and blend the layers by selecting subtract as an option. Change the scale values to 1 or 2 and the offset will be 128 and click OK. Now it is time to change the blending mode which is from the top layer to linear light of gray relief type. When you apply this change you will get the picture in the original look you want.
