"In the context of working with FRII, our priorities are cloud services, cybersecurity, video analytics, digital education, digital logistics, digital medicine, hyperautomation and many other IT areas in terms of import substitution," said representatives of Rostelecom.

"Since mega-rounds have become a rarity, investors are less and less counting on rapid multiple growth and exit. They are switching to a dividend investment model, which is achieved faster with smart money. Accordingly, it is important for startups to be even more careful in choosing investors, giving preference to those who can provide them with industry expertise, as well as access to narrow specialists and services - legal, accounting, communications, which they cannot yet provide themselves. Some investment funds are now thinking about creating specialized centers that can help reduce the cost of development. In this case, the investor "enters" one key project, which subsequently becomes the center of industry expertise, and subsequent investments and acquisitions are built around it," noted Elena Volotovskaya.
