There are various ways to integrate time blocking into your everyday work routine. The classic way is to set up time blocks for very specific tasks as described above. But there may be other methods that are suitable for you and your way of working that are part of time blocking. Depending on which method suits you better, your everyday work routine will find a completely new, productive structure.

Time Blocking : “Today I will do trend research from 1pm to europe rcs data 2pm and continue working on the briefing from 2pm to 3pm.”

This is classic time blocking, which you can ideally integrate into your personal calendar. This way, you not only have fixed meetings and appointments in it, but you have your entire day planned visually. Writing down and setting time blocks not only gives you a better overview of current projects, but also ensures that you use your time more carefully and consciously. Setting fixed times prevents you from being constantly interrupted during your activities and reducing your concentration.

Task batching : “From 10 to 11.30 am I will work through and answer all my emails.”

Task batching focuses on completing smaller and similar tasks in a block of time. This includes, for example, answering emails, editing pictures or running errands. It is important to keep context switching to a minimum, which can include switching to another program, for example. If everything stays in one environment, you can devote yourself entirely to the task and the small units are gradually ticked off.
