The collection form is a table view of a base that shows the user only the rows that they themselves have created. If the user is not entered as the creator in any row, the collection form appears as an empty table. The user can only create new entries, but not edit existing ones. The collection form is therefore the tool of choice for large-scale data germany rcs data update tasks that involve numerous people. It is easier to manage than approvals, since no approval is required to access the collection form. The user only needs a user account.

For you as a sales manager, updating the product catalog is therefore quick and easy: create a collection form, send the link to your product managers and let them do the work.

External links for views (only for Plus and Enterprise subscriptions)
External links for bases have been one of the central sharing functions since version 1.0 of SeaTable. The newly introduced external links for views are a logical extension of these and allow a more granular data exchange with external third parties. As the name suggests, an external link for a view is a URL that grants read access to a specific view of a table - regardless of a SeaTable login. The rows and columns that are hidden by the view settings, as well as the other tables in the base, remain hidden from visitors to the external link.
