The advertising world is full of battles, wars and jabs, so there are several wars between big brands that produce similar products to win the loyalty of consumers. These battles are not bloodbaths, but rather a shower of good humor and creativity, however, not everyone can see this vision, so there are disputes that have already been taken to court.

Thus, this material was prepared to the point of curiosity to exemplify the existence of the most outrageous advertising battles of the century.

COCA-COLA VS PEPSI
It's obvious that if we're talking about honduras number dataset feuds, we should mention one of the most famous. One of the most consumed and loved soft drinks in the world is Coca-Cola, and since its inception, the brand has been accompanied by a very strong competitor: Pepsi.

Coca-Cola did not start out as a soft drink, but as a medicine created by John Pemberton, a pharmacist who sought profit in the pharmaceutical industry. And as unexpected as it may seem, Pepsi had a very similar trajectory, also having its origins from a medicine to combat dyspepsia, giving rise to the brand's name. This disease is not very serious, it is just a feeling of discomfort generated by ingesting something very "heavy" or that did not sit well.

In this way, it is possible to analyze below how the two brands of soft drinks have already gone through several phases of pinpricks.

Coca Cola and Pepsi: Halloween

On Halloween 2013, Pepsi launched a very provocative advertising campaign, in contrast, fans of the competitor brand defended the brand that is close to their hearts with the image available on the right. Thus, in the image on the left, you can see a Pepsi can with a Coca Cola cover with the words: “Have a scary Halloween” and in the image on the right, you can see a caption that says it all: “Everyone wants to be a hero”.

The advertisement made by Pepsi demonstrates the supposed fear of entering a can very similar to Coca Cola.

In addition to these advertisements, there were several others in which, most of the time, the advertisements were made by Pepsi. In fact, several of these advertisements ended up being taken off the air at the request of Coca Cola.

2.MC DONALDS VS BURGER KING

Both brands serve as references in the global market, and so these battles affect the entire globalized world. Burger King was founded in Florida in 1954, while its biggest competitor was founded in Des Plaines in 1955. Since they are both American companies and were founded at the same time, the two powerhouses were destined to become two American multinationals similar to GM and Ford.

It is possible to analyze several campaigns in which this clash occurred, but we selected two in particular;

MC Veggie + MC Picanha.
In November 2018, McDonald's announced the launch of its vegetarian snacks and Picanha sandwich. Since then, taking advantage of the college entrance exam period, Burger King has been wasting no time in provoking its competitor on its social media.

In a Facebook post, Burger King published a video showing a young man still in bed with the text “Whether it’s a sandwich or an exam, it’s better not to be late.” In another frame, it adds the dates on which its sandwiches were launched. Watch the video below:

Distance Mc Donalds VS Burger King
In France in 2016, an advertising film was produced that featured the installation of a giant billboard on the road, informing that the nearest Burger King was 258 km away, as well as indicating the directions and reference points to get to the destination. Next to it, a much smaller billboard was installed, showing that the McDonald's with drive thru was 5 km away. You can watch the video below:

In return, Burger King created a sequel to this film, in which the same characters went to McDonald's, where they bought a "large" coffee, since they had a long way to go. After that, it is possible to see the characters at Burger King enjoying a snack and saying "Mmmmm, it's not that far..."
