Pausing a Facebook group
If you are not 100% sure that you want to delete the group, you can choose to pause it.

Well, if you decide to pause a group, you will make it so that only people who belong to that group will have access to it and its content. And no one else.

The group will still appear in search results for people who are not members of it, but new members will no longer be able to join. However, as I mentioned, all content will still be available to current members.

However, they will also no longer be able to create new posts, nor comment or react to existing ones.

Theoretically, a paused group will still exist in some sense. However, it will be in a kind of limbo and will only allow content to be displayed to its members.

Pausing a group, however, unlike deleting it, is a reversible decision. And you can safely austria rcs data resume it at any time you choose.

How do I pause a Facebook group?
Select a group on Facebook. You can't actually delete a group, only pause it.
So now you know what group pause is. And how to use this function? Nothing could be simpler.

Go to the group page and in the upper right corner, under the cover photo, click the drop-down menu with the three dots icon.
On the penultimate position you will find the option “Pause Group”. Click on it.
Indicate the reason for stopping the group. Then click “Continue” and confirm this step.
You will now be presented with the option to add a note that the group is paused and schedule a time to resume. At the bottom of the page, to confirm, click “Pause Group.”
If you're on a mobile device, you'll find the drop-down menu from point one in the upper left corner of the screen. The option to pause the group is at the very bottom.

Voila! Done. Your group has just been paused.
