Content Marketing and Content Update
Content marketing shouldn’t be limited to creating new content, as that’s the fastest route to burnout. It’s equally important to update existing content. This will ensure that it maintains high quality, attracts valuable traffic, and translates into customer inquiries. Why is content updating so important for your company’s content marketing? How do you go about the process and what content should you update? And what can you gain from doing so?

Learn about the criteria I use when selecting content for updates and see which of them you can use in your business.

Surely, it has happened to you more than once that while looking for a solution to your problem, you came across an article, video or other material that seemed to meet your needs.

You started watching or reading it and tried to use the instructions contained therein. However, it turned out that the tool in which you wanted to repeat the described process had completely changed or the function that the author of the reproduced content was talking about no longer exists. Unfortunately, this is an everyday occurrence on the Internet.

So what can we do to ensure that our users don't have to experience similar dilemmas? Content updates come to the rescue.

Content Marketing and Content Updates – Summary
Content Update – What Inspired Me
I was inspired to take action by one of my favorite business YouTube channels germany rcs data – MeasureSchool . It’s a place where you can find a lot of videos about web analytics. Mostly installations of the technical side of marketing, including all possible codes, such as tracking codes.

I learned a lot at MeasureSchool myself and the information I gained there helped me take my first steps in Google Tag Manager.

I particularly noticed that while the MeasureSchool channel has apparently been around since 2016, the host regularly reviews his videos and records new versions, adapting them to the current look of the Google Tag Manager dashboard.

Thanks to this, when I'm looking for, for example, methods to install Facebook Pixel or Google Analytics code, I know that I'll always find up-to-date knowledge with him.

This approach interested me so much that I also verify all my products myself. So when Facebook changed the look of the Ads Manager advertising panel, I recorded one first, and I'm currently finishing up my second online course.

This way, students who are just starting out with Facebook ads learn on the current version of the panel. They don’t have to look for the features they need in a completely different place or are surprised that a feature has disappeared.

This gave me another idea to use this solution for blog content as well.

After all, both the tools I recommend and the approach to certain solutions are constantly changing.

That's why I personally encourage you to review your own content and update it.
