Add event using address

One option for setting a Pixel event is to use a URL.
The event will occur (will be recorded by Facebook) if someone visits a page with the address you specify. This could be a thank you for registration page or a purchase confirmation page.
In the box at the corner of the page, click the “Monitor URL” button.

Address monitoring has so far been handled by the aforementioned custom conversions. The event configuration tool, on the other hand, allows for something more: tracking clicks.
This seems to be the most useful feature of the tool. How to use it?
This time, click “Monitor New Button.” Your page should go dark and some of your buttons will be highlighted with a frame.

Now we’ll test our event. This is an important step in the setup – after all, we want to make sure the whole process is successful, right?
On the main Pixel page, select the "Event Testing" tab from the menu.

In testing mode, the Pixel will only track events triggered by you – so don't worry, your statistics won't be ruined!
Click "Open Site."
event testing
If you set or have set an event based on a page view, it has already been triggered. If you are testing a click event, perform the appropriate action. Then return to the Business Manager page and see if you see it triggered.
If the date matches the moment of the test, everything is ok!
Note! Some people use the free Facebook Pixel Helper plugin for testing, which works with the Chrome browser. It will scan the indicated page and show the Pixels and events that are running on it. The problem is that it very often shows false information or will not start at all - so I recommend the path I have just shown.
