Forms are one of the primary ways to generate leads from a website. All other tactics nudge site visitors in the right direction, but forms actually capture leads by taking their contact information.

Strategically place opt-in or lead capture forms throughout your site to collect contact information from site visitors. Then add them to your email lists to nurture leads.

There are many different forms you can use on your website.

Some of the more common forms include:

Request a consultation
Sign up to receive our newsletter
Request a free trial
This method and email marketing go hand chiropractor email address in hand because you get the email address of the person who filled out the form. You can send them emails with tips on how to attract potential customers and convert leads into customers .

Here are some guidelines to follow to create high converting web forms.

Keep them short and include only the necessary fields, such as name and email address. The easier it is to fill out a form, the more people are likely to fill it out.
If you need more information, use multi-step forms with 1-2 fields per step. This ensures that you only generate relevant leads – people who are interested enough to complete the various steps in the form.
Place forms so that they are visible but do not interfere or hinder the user's ability to use the site.
Use compelling calls to action to encourage people to fill out your forms and explain to them the reason for doing so by mentioning the benefits.
Set clear expectations about what will happen after someone fills out the form. Also, alleviate their concerns by disclosing why and how often you will contact them. For example, if they sign up for your newsletter, let them know how often you send it.
Take a look at our signup form, for example. It only has three fields and also gives new users the option to sign up using their Google login, making the process simple.

7. Offer lucrative incentives
No matter what lead generation tactics you use, you must provide your website visitors with a good incentive to provide you with their contact information.

Without a good incentive, your website lead generation strategy is likely to fail.

There are many different incentives you can offer, and the best one will depend on your business and target audience.

Some common incentives include:

Free samples
Free Trials
Discounts
Free content or resources
Access to free tools and calculators
The type of incentive you provide will depend on your end goal. If you want site visitors to buy your products, discounts and offers will be your best bet.

Likewise, if you want people to provide their contact information and agree to receive communications from you, lead magnets work well.

A lead magnet is a valuable resource that your target audience is interested in, and you offer it in exchange for their contact information. It could be a free tool, an ebook, an online course, a webinar, or something else.

As long as it's valuable and you're giving it away for free, people will be willing to give up their email addresses to get access to it. That's a good incentive.

The incentives you offer don't have to be monetary. You can simply list the benefits of taking an action, such as subscribing to your newsletter.

Alternatively, you can also offer non-monetary incentives such as free shipping, as Blue Bottle Coffee does in the example below.
