According to the 2021 Information and Communications White Paper published by the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications , the percentage of domestic companies using cloud services reached approximately 70% as of 2020.
If we break down the usage rate based on hospital contact list the penetration rate of cloud services within a company, we get the following:
Overall use: 39.4%
Used in some offices or departments: 29.3%
Furthermore, 10.1% of companies answered that they are not currently using it, but plan to use it in the future.
The data shows that more than 70% of companies see benefits from cloud services, combining those currently using them and those planning to use them.
Reasons why companies use or don't use cloud services
The 2021 Information and Communications White Paper also publishes data on the usage of cloud services.

File storage and data sharing: 59.4%
Email: 50.3%
Internal information sharing and portals: 44.8%
Schedule sharing: 43.8%
In addition, regarding the effectiveness of cloud services, a total of approximately 87% of companies responded that they were "very effective" or "somewhat effective."
