When users receive an email newsletter, they decide whether or not to open it based almost entirely on the subject line and the sender. If the subject line is too long and the content is unclear, or if it is not appealing, the open rate will be low.

Make sure your subject line is short, concise, and easy to understand, and is designed to grab the reader's attention.

Remember the 4U principles

The most important thing to convey should be in the first half of the title.
Emails are read on a variety of devices, including PCs, smartphones, and tablets, but the length of the subject line displayed varies depending on the device.

In particular, on smartphones with small screens, the number of characters in the table that displays the subject line is limited, and if the subject line is long, the latter half will not be displayed. Make sure to write the most important thing you want to emphasize in the first half of the title. The optimal number of characters for the title is about 15 characters.
