Here's a little anecdote: A good two years ago, I was sitting in a global online meeting of a consumer goods company. The digital nerds from 23 countries proudly presented their impressions, likes, followers, etc. After the company's COO lost his temper. He asked the US representative presenting how much additional sales he had made with these incredibly great digital figures. Nobody had expected this question. The American was completely thrown off his game. He answered stutteringly, referring to the company's eShop, which contributed less than 3 percent of the company's total US sales. He didn't know what else to say.

All of this will only really make sense once FM is shut switzerland rcs data down. Until then, the costs for all radio operators will not be lower, but higher, because they now have to use three distribution channels, including the Internet. And that is why the SRG is now trying everything to push the FM switch-off date forward as far as possible. They are talking about 2021 or 2022 - so very, very soon.

But what happens then? Norway provides the first facts: Norway was the first country to switch off FM at the end of last year. This resulted in a massive decline in overall radio consumption ( persoenlich.com reported ). Although most Norwegian households now have DAB+ receivers, they may only have one. The second and third receivers in the bedroom and kitchen are still FM radios, and they are now all worthless. And so DAB+ has manifested itself as the most brutal destroyer of radio consumption of all time.
