What’s Not Included in the TikTok Algorithm
The algorithm does not recommend the following types of content:
Duplicate content
Content you have already viewed
Content flagged as spam by the algorithm
Potentially disturbing content TikTok gives the examples taiwan mobile database of “graphic medical procedures” or “legal consumption of regulated goods”
This is great news for all the new TikTok users or those who haven't built a large follower base yet. TikTok is not based on follower count or popularity of previous videos.
