While voice-driven keywords tend to be longer and more conversational, overall mobile-friendly keywords are short and concise. Typing on a mobile device is tedious, so it’s no surprise that users don’t want to type in lengthy search terms.

Research location-based keywords
We’ve talked about this several times, but it’s one of the most important characteristics of mobile search, so it’s worth mentioning again: local SEO is critical for mobile.

There are two basic keywords to look out for when doing mobile keyword research: “near me” and “nearby.” These are the most common location-based keywords in mobile searches.

If you start typing phrases into the Google mobile search georgia mobile database bar, you may notice that they pop up for example, if you type "Chinese restaurants," Google will suggest "Chinese restaurants near me".

The problem is, you can’t rank for these keywords in the traditional sense. If you’re a Chinese restaurant in New York City and you put content on your page that says “Chinese restaurants near me,” that’s not going to help users in New York City find you.

So what's the solution? First, sign up for Google My Business. This ensures your business is listed when Google users look for your niche. You should also set up your business location on Google Maps. These steps can help improve your "nearby" and "near me" keyword rankings.
