From our records we pull from Ahrefs usage , Digital Ocean did not see a domain rating until March 31st, 2015. After reaching 12,644 referring domain names. Digital Ocean's initial score was as high as 87 and climbed up to 89 by the end of 2015. With 17,878 referring domain names.
At the beginning of 2016, and with 18,884 referring domain names, Digital Ocean is ranked 89 in its domain score. Its domain score becomes consistent throughout the yearly result in 2019.
However, Digital Ocean ranked 89th in 2017 and got 25.6K referring domain names. It is not until mid-2018 that we see Digital Ocean gain 1 point and reach the 90 mark. With 31,690 referring domain names.
Digital Ocean maintains a 90 for the entire year of 2019 and a high of 2020. In September 2020, they reached ninety-one with 57,973 referring domain names. Nearly doubling the referring domain names they had after reaching ninety in domain score, they closed 2021 with ninety-one and 59.5 thousand referring domain names.
By early 2020, Digital Ocean was down to ninety and down to 58.8K for referring domain names. This suggests that Digital Ocean was removed from many of the pages they linked to or that a website they linked to is not active at the moment.
