Plan: In addition to creating business goals, they make them their own. The Business Leader then translates these needs into performance goals.
Do: Must communicate to the company what the business plans are and how to achieve them.
Check: must periodically analyze data relating to business results and then use them as a yardstick for evaluating the company's ability to achieve its objectives.
Act: Responsible for creating ways to best address performance ig data issues that arise during the analysis of business data at the performance level.

The Process Owner designs projects that are useful for achieving the objectives that have been set out in the business plans by the Business Leader.
