Another technique to combat procrastination is the five-minute technique. As the name suggests, all you have to do is commit to working on a certain task for five minutes. Just five minutes. Sounds like a simple way to stop procrastinating, right?
Another reason for procrastination is spending hours and hours working on a task that we don’t like, or that doesn’t excite us. The mere thought of working on that project for all those hours tires us out. And here once again procrastination blocks us, and we find excuses: “I don’t have enough time, I’ll do it tomorrow”.
Sound familiar? Fear not, procrastination is not just your problem. Luckily, there is a solution! The Five Minute Technique helps with just that.
