On a related topic, if anyone would like

The TED website has so many great talks, and they are all organized really well. I saw this one today, aHi guys! I just wanted to pop in quickly to let you know that I’m super swamped at work right now and don’t have too much time to blog
Lately I’ve been getting to work an hour early and leaving about two hours late. Yesterday I worked for more than 12 hours. Yikes. It’s been pretty stressful, but I’m hangin’ in there.
Knowing that in one week I’ll be hopping on a plane to Rome and Amalfi doesn’t hurt either.

Woohooooooo!!
to write some guest posts for me while I’m away, I’d really appreciate it! The post can be on any topic that you think my readers might like and it would be a good opportunity to showcase your writing skills and/or blog! Please email me at [email protected] if you’re interested!
And now, since I don’t have time to chat about much else (I’m telling you, it’s crazy over here) I will leave you with this awesome video that made me smile like crazy when I saw it. Love the song selection too
Right? How great is that?! Now I just want to take Jack on a boat with me and see if he would swim with dolphins. What do you think?
Ok and just in case you need one more link to make you smile today, check out this “baby name brainstorm” between Kim and Kanye. Bahaha. Love those
Alright folks, wish me luck that work calms down and that I’ll be able to check in with you guys tomorrow! I have a lot of fun “favorite things Friday” things to share, so hopefully I’ll have time!
Question of the day: What are some links that have been making you smile lately? Feel free to share in the comments section below, I could use a good smile today!
Favorite Side Dish
saladI know I mentioned this to you guys on Wednesday, but I have been loving salads this week. I always like salads, but with the addition of these crunchy garlicky crutons and leftovers from other nights’ dinners (sweet corn!!!) they have been even better. I’m definitely on a salad kick this week…let’s see how long it lasts (my guess is ’til the bottom of the cruton bag…)
Favorite Baby Shower Dish
cookiesTwo of the women I work with are expecting babies in late September/early dataset October, and to celebrate our team is hosting a baby shower for them next Monday (the 26th). I am having trouble deciding what to bake/bring, and was thinking these cookies may need to make a reappearance. Any thoughts?
Favorite Lunch Outing
cupcakeOne of my other coworkers celebrated her birthday this week so a group of us went out to lunch at Roti to celebrate. It was a gorgeous day (like 75 degrees and sunny) and we had so much fun sitting around chatting. It’s not often that I can leave my desk for that long (work is insane, as always) so it was really nice to get away. My coworker offered to share her birthday cupcake with us, and split it into seven equal pieces so we could all have a bite. Isn’t that nice? I’m not sure I’d be so generous, ha. Anyway, the Roti was delicious (I got a salad) but the cupcake was even better. It was from Crumbs, which you guys know is my fav.
