Once installation is complete, click Finish to launch XAMPP.

How to Install XAMPP on Linux
Click on the reference download.
Open Terminal via the Applications menu or via the Ctrl + Alt + T shortcut.
Go to the directory where you downloaded the package with the terminal cd command.
Change the file permissions using the following command: chmod 755 xampp-linux-*-installer.run where instead of * you will insert the correct name of the file you downloaded, for example, chmod 755 xampp-linux-x64-7.2.8-0-installer.run.

Follow the XAMPP installation procedure as on Windows.
Once the installation is complete, start the virtual server via the XAMPP graphical interface:

Click on the reference download, with .dmg extension from the site.
Double-click the file and wait for your Mac to mount the XAMPP volume.
On your desktop you will see an icon containing the application.
Open the volume and double click to install it.
Once the installation wizard is complete, XAMPP will open automatically.
