In 2004, she joined Aplibase, a subsidiary of Vtiger. The company then had only eight employees, including Vidya. She single-handedly handled recruitment, finance, and administration. When Vtiger CRM was founded in 2009, Vidya became a part of it.
Wow… that’s a long 17 years. Kudos to you, Vidya!

“I remember the time when Vtiger was not widely known. We faced many challenges and were striving to improve the CRM. As a result of our hard work, our clientele has increased over the years. Being in the office and working for Vtiger has become a way of life for Vidya. She loves her job and says that meeting deadlines is very important to her.
We asked her what motivates her to go to the office every day. She said, “Vtiger is like my home. The employees here are like my family.”
I'm sure all of us at Vtiger would agree - she's like a mother to most of us. Someone you can turn to if you're facing any kind of problem at Vtiger or in life.

Talking about her responsibilities, Vidya admits that she is always the decision maker, but she is open to suggestions. She also wants to improve her management skills.
“I can delegate work to my team members, but I cannot make them complete it on time. I try to be tough on the outside so that no one takes advantage of me. But when someone needs an extension, I cannot stop and stand by my decision.”
We can certainly understand you, Vidya. After all, we are human.
“How was working from home during the quarantine?” we asked her.
“It was terrible at first because it was difficult to coordinate with the team. Working from home increased the workload. Tasks were delayed due to distractions, which led to delays. I feel like my personal and professional lives have merged. Since I am now working in an office, I have noticed that work gets done faster. Since our tasks have dependencies, we need to be in the office.”
