How do they differ from each other?

1 Budget Management
In Facebook-Instagram campaigns, there are two options for budget management:

1) Daily budget

2) Total budget

In the case of a total budget , we decide to allocate a specific amount for a specific period (for example, a week, two weeks, a month). Then we have less ongoing work, because we can't really implement any optimization changes in such campaigns. But we are sure that the budget will be spent evenly throughout the entire period of displaying ads.

In turn, the daily budget , as the name suggests, operates with a set daily amount. france rcs data It is easier to make all kinds of changes to it without spoiling its optimization. Sometimes, however, there are fluctuations in views, because the system can save some money for the next day.

Whenever someone asks me what type of budget management to use, I recommend a daily budget.

Why?

For the reasons I mentioned a moment ago, because it is easier to introduce any changes – as the Anglo-Saxons nicely say – on the fly.

Except that in the case of larger campaigns, testing the total budget also makes sense. And I will honestly admit that during longer, key campaigns, both I and some specialists from my digitalk agency increasingly often set the total budget.

So why and when should you test the switch to a total budget?
If you’ve been advertising for a while and have figured out what your best target groups, creative, and other ad settings are, now is a good time to test out another change. This is switching from managing a daily budget to a lifetime budget.

I have been surprised many times when this seemingly insignificant change caused the exact same ad settings to start bringing better results. For example, higher sales volume or better ROAS ( Return on Ad Spend ).

So if you find yourself in a situation where you have nothing to change and basically don't know what else you can optimize, then test launching an ad set managed by a total budget. And be sure to share the results with me.
