Types of Cloud Services

Post by subornaakter20 »

Cloud services can be classified into three categories: SaaS, PaaS, and IaaS . We will explain each one one by one.

Types of Cloud Services

What is the difference between cloud-based las vegas email list and on-premise systems? Introducing the advantages and disadvantages
An email delivery system is a mechanism for more efficient mass and segmented email delivery. Using an email delivery system, you can not only send emails at once, but also deliver emails to segments based on user attributes, etc. There are two types of email delivery services: "cloud type" and "on-premise type".

SaaS
SaaS is pronounced "saasu" or "saazu" and is an abbreviation for Software as a Service. Literally, it means "providing software as a service." In other words, SaaS is a service that allows you to use software in the cloud via the Internet .

Cloud services that are familiar to many people are roughly classified as "SaaS." These include Gmail and Dropbox. In recent years, you may have seen more and more corporate commercials advertising "cloud" services such as attendance management and accounting software, which are also classified as SaaS.

PaaS
PaaS is pronounced "PaaS" and is an abbreviation of Platform as a Service. It is a service that provides a platform such as OS and hardware for running software via the Internet . A large data center provides a platform including a network, hardware, OS, and middleware for running applications, and corporate users can develop on that platform. Specific examples include Amazon Web Services (AWS), Microsoft Azure, and Google Cloud Platform (GCP).

With PaaS, the environment required for software development is already prepared, and developers do not need to manage middleware operations. In addition, functions unique to cloud services, such as data analysis, AI, and IoT, can be easily incorporated into software.

This is a recommended service if you want to develop software using convenient tools, with a certain degree of freedom, and also want to reduce operational burden.

IaaS
The last IaaS is pronounced "ears" or "eye-earth" and is an abbreviation for Infrastructure as a Service. IaaS is a service that provides hardware and infrastructure such as servers, storage, and networks . Examples include Amazon Elastic Compute Cloud (Amazon EC2) and Google's "Google Compute Engine (GCE)".

IaaS is highly customizable, allowing you to freely select the specifications for CPU, memory, storage, etc., and can be flexibly configured for scaling up. Costs are also low because you only pay for what you use according to the configured specifications.

However, the scope of user management is wider and the operational burden is higher than with SaaS or PaaS. If you want to ensure the speed of service provision, freedom in terms of resource load, and customizability of the system, you should consider using IaaS.
