There was actually an argument from the No Billag people that captured the spirit of the times: namely, that people were no longer willing to pay for media that they did not use themselves. We should build on that. Because now that the emotionally heated gun smoke of the last few months has cleared, it is appropriate to steer the discussion sparked by "No Billag" into rational channels in order to arrive at solutions that are promising for the future.

The aim of a new, modern approach should be the following: to simultaneously strengthen the legitimacy of the SRG, increase the pressure on it to perform and reduce costs, support private providers and enable the desire of many citizens to have a direct influence on the use of their compulsory fees.
