Videos that received more embeds, were more embedded on websites, performed better. But through experimentation, we're not entirely clear whether we can prove that embedding a video more often increases its ranking. So it could just be that as something ranks well and gets picked up a lot, more people embed it rather than more embeds leading to better rankings.
