Quoted from CNN Indonesia , at the meeting in October 2020, the Investment Coordinating Board (BKPM) planned to overhaul the online investment licensing registration system that entrepreneurs usually do through OSS because it had to adjust it to the Job Creation Law that had just been passed.

The system overhaul refers to the adjustment of Norms, Standards, Requirements, and Criteria (NSPK) which will also be compiled in government regulations. The plan is, BKPM as the manager of OSS will create the latest version related to the Job Creation Law. In this latest system, the granting of business permits will be risk- based .

The risk level is assessed based on aspects of health, safety, utilization list of saudi arabia cell phone numbers and management of resources, environment, and volatility. The sources of assessment are based on considerations of the type of business activity, location, criteria, and resource limitations.

The assessment of potential hazards will be divided into several types, namely impossible, unlikely, likely to occur, or almost certain to occur. On this basis, business activities will be divided into three groups, namely low, medium, or high risk.

Business Licensing will be determined based on its risk group. For low-risk business activities, the permit granted is NIB which is the legality of implementing business activities.

For medium-risk business activities, a NIB and a standard certification statement or fulfillment of a standard certificate for medium-high risk will be provided.

For high-risk business activities, a NIB will be given and a permit must be obtained. The permit in question is the approval of the central government to carry out business activities. If they do not have this permit, business actors may not carry out their business activities.

It is clear that all the arrangements regarding the Online Single Submission system are intended to provide convenience to all parties, both entrepreneurs, government, and other related parties related to business activities. Therefore, business actors are required to register or update data through the applicable system.
