How to use Hashtags on Twitter

Post by subornaakter20 »

To include a hashtag in your Twitter posts, simply index it in your tweets.

Make sure your profile is public. A public profile will help users who don't follow you to see your content.

The ideal way to use hashtags on Twitter is to create esinc email list so-called “Twitter chats.” These “chats” allow you to have interesting conversations with your users.

It is essential that you evaluate your hashtag, once published, and know what users are commenting about it.

To do this, you can go to the magnifying glass in the top right corner on Twitter. You don't need to put a hashtag (#) but you do need to put the word correctly.

You can also use the advanced search.

With this tool you can get data about the dates or location of tweets, and even see the positive and negative comments on the hashtag.

Additionally, you can filter your search results in various views such as top, live, photos and videos.

Top is for tweets that had the most engagement in terms of retweets and replies.
With live view you can see tweets in chronological order.
In Accounts you will only see tweets produced by verified, official accounts such as newspapers or artists.
Photos and videos, obviously it will only show you those tweets that contain images or some audiovisual material.
How to use Hashtags on Facebook
Just like on Twitter, if your Facebook account is private, no one will be able to see the content.

With the exception of a few countries, Facebook does not list hashtags , so it is not possible to know which ones are the most popular.

When you make a post and add a hashtag, the social network automatically converts it into a hyperlink.

So searching for other posts, with the same tag, can be done with just one click .

In addition to being able to filter search results by top, latest (which is the equivalent of “live” on Twitter), photos and videos, Facebook allows you to narrow your search down to pages, people, places, groups, events or apps.

So your hashtag search is more specific.

What are hashtags for on Instagram?
Just like on Facebook and Twitter, your Instagram account must be public so that your content can be seen by your users.

This will also help the hashtags you use to work.

Something very interesting happens on Instagram: when you put the hash (#), when you edit your caption, you will see options for popular hashtags on the social network.

You can search for hashtags through the search tool by selecting the topic of your choice and a tag.

You can also see the most used hashtags in the Explore option . Just use the magnifying glass at the bottom of the social network.

Hashtags on Instagram are very different from those on Twitter.

For example, on Instagram, tags are used to identify what is seen in the image , while in tweets they are more related to current things, events or happenings that are in vogue.
