After that, our divisions—project groups—began to form: this happened quite naturally, because by that time, groups of people had already formed who were comfortable interacting with each other.

Each project team has several roles: account manager, product manager, project manager (implementer). Former project managers became leaders of these teams because they can play all three of these roles.

The role of the salesperson has moved from the supply department algeria telegram to the project group. We did not distribute the buyers among the project groups because, firstly, specialization is important there (flowerpots, live plants, artificial plants), and secondly, it is more convenient for our suppliers to work with one contact from the company.

The remaining departments remained functional (project groups do not have their own accountant or marketer), but the interaction became more horizontal: we have clearly defined roles for each person, and project groups know who to contact and for what exactly in each of the circles.

At the same time, we began to introduce some elements of self-government: we moved from a division into departments to a flat structure consisting of circles.

Each circle has a leader, but he is not a manager, since the voices of all participants are equally important, and everyone has their own role. Cross-functional circles have emerged: this is when people go beyond their role and unite into a team to solve a specific problem.

We changed the approval processes: now they take place within project groups. I don’t sign budgets or make decisions for people, but I can discuss strategy or give advice.

In this system, my primary role is mentoring and providing resources. The culmination of the changes was a recent strategy session, where the entire team formed the strategy as equals.
