Now, select the exact date and time for your message to be sent. This flexibility allows you to schedule your message to be sent based on your workflow or your team's time zones.

Once you've set the time, click the "Schedule Message" button. Congratulations, your message is queued for later AND you've used a handy Slack hack to boost productivity.

However, that's not all.

If you need to change the time of your message, click on the clock icon next to the edit icon. This will allow you to change the date and time, ensuring your message arrives exactly when you want it to.

Step 8: Cancel or delete the scheduled message
Are you no longer confident with the message or programming? Don't worry.

You can cancel or delete the scheduled message by clicking on the corresponding options. This way, you will have full control over your project management messages in Slack .

Step 9: Watch it live
Finally, when the scheduled time comes, your message will automatically appear in the designated channel just like any other regular Slack message. It's that simple. You can also schedule recurring messages this way.

However, please note that you cannot send scheduled messages to reply to an ongoing thread or conversation.
